Privacy policy

We take data protection seriously and only collect what we really need. This page explains which data arises when you visit 7cloud.ai, what we use it for and which rights you have. The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) applies. If you visit from the EU or EEA, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies as well.

2. Legal bases
Under the FADP we process data lawfully, in good faith and proportionately. Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: – your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), for example for Google Analytics and the contact form, – steps prior to or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) when you contact us about working together, – our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in a secure, working website, – legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), such as retention periods.
3. Hosting and server log files
Our website is hosted by SiteGround, a hosting provider that processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Every request creates technically necessary log data: IP address, date and time, page requested, amount of data transferred, referrer, browser and operating system. We only use it to deliver the website, find errors and fend off attacks. Log files are deleted automatically after a short time unless a security incident has to be investigated.
4. Cookies
We set necessary cookies without which the website does not work properly. Everything else only with your consent. Necessary, always on: – 7c_lang: your language choice, 1 year – 7c_consent: your cookie decision, 6 months – 7c_inv: keeps the client area open after login, 12 hours Analytics, only with consent: – _ga and _ga_<ID>: Google Analytics, tells visits apart, up to 2 years You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookies” in the footer. When you withdraw, we delete the analytics cookies.
5. Google Analytics
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). It shows us which pages are read, how visitors find us and where the website needs to improve. This includes: pages viewed, time spent, source of the visit, device type, browser, screen size and approximate location (country, city). Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. We have switched off Google signals and advertising features. Data is kept for 14 months at most. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework. Standard contractual clauses apply in addition. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Clicking “Accept all” or closing the cookie notice counts as consent. You can reject in the notice under “Settings” → “Reject all”, and Google Analytics is then not loaded. More from Google: policies.google.com/privacy
6. Contact form and email
When you write to us via the form or by email, we process your name, email address, company, topic, your message and the time of your consent. The details are sent by email to our team (backoffice@7cloud.ai). The website itself does not store them. We only use your details to answer your request and to prepare a possible collaboration. The legal basis is your consent and steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). We delete your request once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods require otherwise, for example up to 10 years for business correspondence. To fend off spam we briefly limit the number of requests per IP address in memory, without storing them.
7. Client area
We give out the password for the protected client area after a personal conversation. After login we set the technical cookie 7c_inv for 12 hours. The client area is blocked for search engines.
8. Fonts, videos and images
We serve fonts, videos and images from our own server. Loading the page therefore creates no connection to Google Fonts, YouTube or other third parties.
9. Links to other websites
We link to revolvelabs.ai and tattup.shop, among others. You only leave our website when you click a link. From then on, the privacy policy of that provider applies.
10. Disclosure and transfers abroad
We do not sell data. We only pass it on to service providers we need for hosting, email and, with your consent, analytics, and only as far as necessary. Where recipients are in a country without adequate data protection, we secure the transfer with recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or the Data Privacy Framework.
11. Your rights
You can at any time – request access to your data, – have incorrect data corrected, – request deletion of your data, – restrict or object to processing, – receive your data in a common format (portability), – withdraw consent with effect for the future. Just write to info@7cloud.ai. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EU the authority where you live.
12. Security
The connection to our website is encrypted with TLS (https). Only people who need to handle a request have access to it.
13. Changes
We update this policy when the website or the law changes. The version published here applies.
